This exciting new chapter has been funded by the City of Darwin and we are ready to help Top End residents save money on their power bills, fuel, and live more sustainably.

COOLmob is all about helping residents make energy efficiency a practical and enjoyable way of life. COOLmobs return is set to give Top End residents a renewed toolkit to integrate energy efficiency into their daily routines. This will make our unique lifestyle more comfortable, energy efficient and budget friendly.

Here’s what we have in store for residents in the Top End

• Household energy efficiency workshop:
  Join us in December for a relaxed workshop to learn what practical tips and tricks you can do to make your home more energy efficient and budget conscious during our hotter parts of the year. Learn how to keep the tropical heat at bay without breaking the bank and discover how small changes can lead to significant savings

• Living Troppo Discovery Day:
  COOLmob will be launching its very own ‘Living Troppo Discovery Day’ which will showcase ordinary homes that have an extraordinary secret – that keeping cool with energy efficiency and sustainable design is achievable in our Top End climate. With increasing temperatures and electricity prices, we can often overlook the potential for energy efficient living within our own walls. So, get ready for 2024 when we will hold our very own discovery day that will be proof that sustainability isn’t limited to grand gestures and designs or other worlds

  Look to COOLmob for information on the latest government rebates for solar panels, batteries or energy efficiency upgrades that will make retrofitting your home more economical.
  
  
• Territory Green Challenges
  We will be running Territory Green Challenges through our social media for households to become more sustainable. From finding Smart Cooling, Plastic Free weeks, Local Energy Efficient Heros, Composting Champions and Public Transport Pioneers – what will your next Green Challenge be?
