Community gardens

Community gardens are a great way to get involved in growing your own food, learning to compost and worm farm, meeting new people and learning new skills in your neighbourhood. They are very important in building community knowledge around local foods, encouraging more people to get involved, and providing space for people living in apartments or homes without available gardening space.

We're very lucky to have a range of community gardens in the Top End, and they're all always looking for more people to get involved and volunteer, attend events, help out with growing and some even offer personal or shared plots.
